Ketchup The Duck Crochet Pattern

Between the recent announcement of the Nintendo Switch 2 and the talented work of some of my crochet friends, Animal Crossing has been all that’s on my mind recently! One of my crochet friends, @megsmakescrochet, has been making tons of adorable Animal Crossing plushies. Naturally, I was feeling very inspired to crochet one of my personal favorites… Ketchup!
In a recent vlog we went through the process of freehanding this design. I Initially planned on crocheting this for myself, but once I saw how adorable it turned out I knew I had to share it with you! You can use this pattern to create any Animal Crossing duck villager by swapping out the clothes, color, and felt. And if you’re not a fan of animal crossing, feel free to use the pattern to crochet a cute and simple bird!
