Front Panel

The graph will be worked onto the front panel. Note that odd rows are worked from right to left and even rows are worked from left to right.

With (Light Brown), Ch 33

Row 1 – starting in 2nd ch from hook, sc across. Ch 1, turn (32)

Rows 2-33 – sc across, ch 1, turn (32) (32 rows)

FO, leaving an 8 in (20 cm) tail. Weave in ends.

Back Panel

With (Dark Brown), Ch 33

Row 1 – starting in 2nd ch from hook, sc across. Ch 1, turn (32)

Rows 2-33 – sc across, ch 1, turn (32) (32 rows)

Do not FO, continue on to the border

Border

Hold front and back panels together with right sides facing out. To make the border, work each stitch through both panels. Make sure to work 1 sc into the side of each row when working the sides to keep an even tension.

Round 1 – sc around, working through both panels, slst into first st and ch 2

Round 2 – [dc 4 in same st, sc 4], repeat around
